The International Sustainable Production and Consumption conference (EFCE event number 754) will take place in Manchester, UK, 4-5 October 2018. Organised in collaboration with the Sustainable Production and Consumption journal, this inaugural international conference will provide a platform for high-quality papers related to sustainable production and consumption. It aims to explore multidimensional interactions between technology, society and policy.
Chaired by Professor Adisa Azapagic (who also chairs the EFCE Sustainability Section), this is a new international conference whose subject matter is more important than ever. What was once ‘nice to have’ is now vital to the future of the planet. Awareness of the need for sustainable production and consumption has made dramatic progress in the last few years. However, there is so much more that we can do and so much more that needs to be done.
